Poe: Dreams of Madness

This semester's teen performance encompasses the macabre, the evil, & the psychological with a production of Poe: Dreams of Madness, which showcases all of his most beloved works including The Telltale Heart, the Cask of Amontillado, and The Raven.

Try-outs will be the first week of February on both Tuesday and Thursday (you only need to come to one).  Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the production in mid-April.  At auditions, you will notify the directors of your availability for Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Certain scenes will be rehearsed on Tuesdays ONLY and others will be rehearsed on Thursdays ONLY.

This play is intended for actors ages 12-18 only. Younger actors may try out for The Wizard of Oz, which will meet only on Tuesday afternoons.

For your audition, come prepared with a theatrical monologue and a list of your acting experiences.
