Description
Combine creative writing and illustration in this class inspired by English poet and artist William Blake! Each week, students receive writing prompts for poetry and short stories, alongsideopportunities to visually interpret their ideas through art. Collaboration and sharing are encouraged but optional, fostering a creative, open environment. Expectations: Students shouldbring a writing notebook/folder/sketchbook to each class and be prepared to write, draw, and work independently, with occasional group exercises. Sharing of work is encouraged but notrequired. Content warning: As freedom of expression is encouraged, some controversial, political and/or more mature subjects may come up within the context of art, writing andliterature.
