Projects with AI - Tuesday

In this exciting AI class, students will dive into the world of artificial intelligence by building their own unique projects—just like a real tech startup! Each student will choose their own project idea,
identifying something they’re passionate about. Mr. Ron will pair students thoughtfully, matching complementary abilities and temperaments to create balanced, dynamic teams. Together, they’ll work through the stages of project development, from brainstorming to final presentations, all while learning to use AI tools responsibly and creatively. This course will help students harness their natural energy and curiosity in a structured, engaging environment, building teamwork, independence, and innovation along the way.

• It is suggested that students have paid subscriptions to both chatGPT ($20/month) and Midjourney ($30/month) as the free options are limited. However, it will be possible to be successful in the class without these. ChatGPT runs in a web browser and Midjourney runs via Discord, so both of those need to be on the students’ devices. Discord has a free option that should be sufficient, although a free account is needed. It is suggested that the device be a tablet or laptop as smartphone screens are a bit small for graphic work and harder to type on for textual input.
