Description: Students will learn the basics of poker, in particular Texas Hold 'Em. Students will incorporate key concepts in math, probability, statistics, and strategy into their games. Limit 8 students. Recommended age is 9+ with exceptions made for mature students.
Skills Required: There are no pre-requisites for this class. Students should be able to perform basic math operations and be able to keep a moderate level of focus during class. The nature of poker does allow students frequent breaks if necessary.
Homework: There is no formal homework in this class. Students are encouraged to practice poker at home with friends and family.
Students must register for the day or programming prior to selecting classes.
