Description
Description: Students who are ready to move beyond Scratch will have fun learning intermediate-level coding concepts through video game and animation programming.
Skills Required: At least 6 months of Scratch programming experience is required. Students will need to bring a laptop to class; an external mouse is strongly recommended. This class is recommended for students 13+ years of age. Age exceptions can be made for experienced, mature coders. Reading is required as well as the ability to code along with the teacher by viewing the large monitor used in class. This class will only be held inside.
Homework: Students will receive recommended features to add to their projects as homework each week. These additional features are optional.
