This class is designed to look deeply into the world of forensics for the tween to teen range. From the intricacies of DNA testing and acquisition to the ways in which experts use data to solve mysteries, the field of forensics covers not just criminology, but historical mysteries as well. Students should expect homework including reading and writing, and a project at the end of the semester. Classes will feature lectures, discussions, experiments, and investigations. The $15 fee will cover materials for experiments.
Skills Required: Ability to focus and listen to teacher, exercise caution and adhere to safety standards forda experiments, and participate in class discussions.
