Students will focus on creating useful items and understanding how to repair items using a Lecture and Lab approach as they will be given a problem and encouraged to solve it. Discussion of how 3D printing is used for creating adaptive items will also be highlighted. Students will learn how to use callipers and come up with a print that takes measurements into account. Students must be familiar with a CAD software (tinkercad, solidworks, fusion 360) and will not be taught how to use software. Students must bring their own computer or be prepared to use the latitude ones. They must be able focus on a task for at least 25 minutes.
