In this hands-on class, students will explore rocks, minerals, fossils, and the forces that shape our planet. We’ll investigate topics like plate tectonics, volcanoes, earthquakes, and the rock cycle through experiments, field studies, and interactive activities. Students will examine real rock and mineral samples, build models to understand geologic processes, and discover how Earth’s history is recorded in stone. This class offers a fun and engaging way to dig into the wonders of geology.
