In this interactive science class, students will explore the structure and function of the human body, learning how organs, systems, and tissues work together to keep us alive and healthy. Lessons will include hands-on activities, models, and experiments to help students understand topics such as the circulatory, respiratory, muscular, and nervous systems. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in animal dissections to gain a deeper, practical understanding of anatomy. Please note: all parts of the body will be discussed in a scientific and respectful manner, and animal dissection will be a part of the curriculum.
