Use your sewing machine skills and make a pillow pal of your own design. Pillow pals can hold pjs, books or anything you’d like to keep near your bed. In this class we will be using our sewing skills to learn how to cut out a pattern, follow the instruction and install a zipper. Please check out the website to see the project and order a pattern:

Supplies: (you will need to pick which animal you might like but this list includes the different parts that might be required)
A copy of the pattern printed out.
• 1/2 yard Outer Fabric: fleece, cuddle, minky, etc.
• 1/2 yard Pocket Lining Fabric: quilting cotton or mediumweight knits
• 1/2 yard Penguin/Sloth/Owl Tummy Panel Fabric: fleece or felt
• 1/4 yard Accent Fabric: fleece or felt
• 1/4 yard lightweight fusible interfacing
• 14” or longer standard zipper (zipper will be trimmed during assembly)
• Embroidery floss for mouth, cat whiskers and dragon wings
• Polyfill Stuffing
• Washable glue stick
• Wash-away fabric marking pen or tailor’s chalk
We do have some supplies in the sewing stash that can be used for fabric. If you want to make something specific please order supplies for that animal.
